NEONATES: Contraindicated
Oral: 10 mg 30 minutes before the termination of intravenous infusion, then 10 mg every 2 hours for 24 hours, then maintenance dose is 10 to 20 mg 4 - 6 times daily until the 37th week of gestation the dose depending on uterine activity and unwanted effects.
Maximum dose: 120mg / day
Injection: initial dose: 0.05mg/minute as IV infusion, dose is then increased by 0.05mg every 10 minutes until therapeutic effect is obtained, maximum dose: 0.35mg/minute
