CHILDREN below 2 years: contraindicated
1.Bacterial conjunctivitis

4.Ocular infections
EAR DROPS:
1.Bacterial Otitis externa
2.Chronic Otitis media
3.Pre and post aural or mastoid surgery
Eyes: 1 drop should be instilled in the infected eye every 2 hours for 2 days and thereafter every 4 hours for up to 5 days. Do not use during sleep.
Chloramphenicol 5% w/v drop is used
Ears: The area should be cleaned and 2 - 3 drops instilled in the infected ear 3 - 4 times a day for up to 1 week
Children: 1 - 2 drops 3 times daily.
