Centrally-acting skeletal muscle relaxant, antipyretic and weak antiadrenergic, Muscle relaxant.
Mechanism of Action of Carisoprodol
This centrally acting drug blocks pain sensations between the nerves and the brain. It produces muscle relaxation by blocking interneuronal activity and depressing transmission of polysynaptic neurons in the descending reticular formation and spinal cord. This decreases muscular spasms. It also has antipyretic and weak antiadrenergic activity.

Mechanism of Action of Ibuprofen
