About CarisoprodolCentrally-acting skeletal muscle relaxant, antipyretic and weak antiadrenergic, Muscle relaxant.Mechanism of Action of CarisoprodolThis centrally acting drug blocks pain sensations between the nerves and the brain. It produces muscle relaxation by blocking interneuronal activity and depressing transmission of polysynaptic neurons in the descending reticular formation and spinal cord.
