Mechanism of Action of Ethacridine Lactate
It preferentially modulates Th1-type lymphocytes, suggesting an enhancement of antibacterial activities of the immune system. It also activates uterine mast cells that release mediators able to contract the myometrium. This induce uterine contractions similar to those in a physiologic labor in still-birth with uterine inertia
